What would an algorithm serve at an opening and how could one feed the algorithm to break existing recognition patterns?

What would an algorithm serve at an opening and how could one feed the algorithm to break existing recognition patterns? Taste samples between artificial and natural food stand side by side, peas meet different tasting capers and shape-related sugar pearls, gummy cherries line up next to olives. Impressions from the Eating Experience by Marianna Mondelos, which happend at the opening of our latest exhibition Fabric of Dreams. Towards a Technodiversity. The sentences of the installation are excerpts from the accompanying object texts for the exhibition, chosen by curator Elisabeth Falkensteiner.

Marianna Mondelos (lives and works in Vienna) creates artistic interventions through eating experiences. These temporal installations are based on reshaping the perception and relationship with and around food, where social norms of sharing a meal and eating together are questioned. She is pursuing a diploma in nutrition pedagogy, researching plant-based fish alternatives.
